Laundry Day…

Monday, June 2nd

After the craziness that was Sunday, the atmosphere looked like it needed a break – and so did we.  There was plenty of energy in the atmosphere – CAPE was high, CIN was next to nothing, shear was good, and moisture was plentiful, but there was absolutely no lift!  No lift means that all this energy can’t initiate convection very well (and it didn’t).  So what does this mean?  Laundry day!

So we did laundry in the morning, ate lunch, and waited at a local park to wait for storms to fire.  And nothing happened…

So we went to our Sleep Inn at Topeka, KS (which was FANTASTIC), got some free BBQ from Ryann’s father, and caught up on our blogs and such.
